James was born in Cambridge and studied architecture at the University of Bath, and De Montfort University in Leicester. He qualified as a RIBA Chartered Architect from Chester University, in 2008.
James moved to Cardiff in 2003 where he has worked for two large, renowned practices on a range of medium to large scale projects.
He understands that trust and respect between the client, Architect and contractor are key to a successful project as epitomised at the new primary school in Croes Goch in West Wales where he is proud of the positive reaction from the pupils and staff.
James joined Hatcher Prichard Architects in August 2015 and brings a clear, friendly approach to each project.
