Hatcher Prichard Architects designed Bristol Free School, an academy for 1090 secondary age pupils with an annual intake of 200 children. The scheme has transformed two redundant office buildings into a dining hall and a dedicated teaching block. A state-of-the-art sports hall and drama dance studio complete the buildings, with athletic facilities and a grassed sports pitch completing a secure seven acre campus.
Hatcher Prichard Architects worked closely with all stakeholders to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive school in which academic success is encouraged alongside the development of individual flair, creativity, talent and personality.
